I’m a Virginia Beach-based portrait photographer, but I’ll always be a small town girl at heart. I was raised on love and sweet tea on a tobacco farm in southern Virginia. I’m a Virginia Tech alumna, where I met my other half – my husband Mike. We have two amazing children, Sydney and Parker, and being their mom is the very best thing I’ve ever done with my life! I remember THE moment I became a mom, when my heart was no longer my own. I’ve wanted to remember every moment since, which is why I’m so passionate about preserving those memories for other families.

Growing up, I always had a camera in my hand. I loved (and still love) how a photograph can take you back to a specific moment in time, even the feelings and emotions. I believe you should be IN the moment, while also remembering the moment. Your memories are priceless, and investing in them is definitely worth it.

I love vibrant, bright images, and I’m crazy for golden hues and the warm glow of a watercolor painted sky. I strive to capture genuine moments through natural posing and a playful, joyous photo experience. I specialize in couples and family photography, but I also love lifestyle sessions, such as at-home newborns, gender reveals, and military homecomings!

These are a few of my favorite things: Jesus, sunsets, home decor, cooking, curling up with my kindle (probably a cheesy romance), Gilmore Girls and country music.
