When my close friend’s sister asked if I’d take her college senior photos, I jumped at the chance! Anna is graduating from the University of Virginia this year, and we quickly agreed to set our school rivalries aside (GO HOKIES!!). UVA was just coming off the National Championship basketball win, so I didn’t have a ton of smack talk prepared anyway ~Insert laughing emoji here~. Does anyone else feel like they use emojis so often that it’s getting harder and harder to type without them? I digress…back to this beautiful, sweet senior!

Anna was a dream client! I’m not sure how many times I’ve already told her that she doesn’t know how to take a bad photo, but it’s SO true! She’s extremely photogenic, and also so sweet and funny. Her sister and mom were along for the session as well, and I had the best time laughing and chatting with them. So much so,  I completely lost track of time. I’m not sure how long I actually shot, but I appreciate her allowing me to probably go way overboard!

The weather was pretty crazy this day. When I arrived, the wind was whipping and it was pouring down rain. About 10 minutes later, the sun was shining brightly and the temperature (and humidity) increased tremendously. Thankfully, the weird weather meant we had Pleasure House Point almost all to ourselves. I absolutely love the tall grasses and neutral backdrop this location offers. It allowed Anna’s personality and beauty to shine!

I had such a great time at this session that I’m hoping to get to do lots more senior sessions in the future! Please enjoy a few of my favorites! It took a lot of restraint to not add about 50 more to this post!
