Is there anything in this world more precious than a new mom and dad admiring their brand new baby on her first day of life?  If there is, my heart may just burst if I ever get to experience it.

Kaitlin is one of my very best friends, and I’ve loved watching her and Jared go from boyfriend and girlfriend, to fiancés, to husband and wife, and now to dad and mom. There’s something so special about witnessing your friends go through all these seasons of life.

I even had the opportunity to participate in Kaitlin and Jared’s gender reveal! That session made me that much more excited to meet their beautiful baby girl. And she is PERFECT!

Emma was born a Wednesday evening, so the following day, I snuck away from work on my lunch break to visit the new family of three. And of course, I had to bring my camera along!

Emma was filling the hospital room with joy at only several hours old. She had the best newborn squeaks, and some ridiculously adorable yawns before falling fast asleep in her bassinet.

Emma has two of the very best parents she could have. I can’t wait to watch her grow and her little personality evolve! Congratulations to the new parents!!!
